Book Review: Practicing the Presence of Jesus

Imagine what life would be like if you had the living Jesus seated beside you as you drank your morning coffee…

Imagine what you would talk to Jesus about if he were in your passenger seat while you were stuck in rush hour traffic…

What if you could have Jesus’ undivided attention anytime you need it?

Well, you can! Wally Armstrong’s book, “Practicing the Presence of Jesus” tells you how! Wally tells of how he learned about the idea of practicing the presence of Jesus and then tells how it changed his life. It opened up a new way of praying to Jesus and also deepened the relationship he had with Jesus. He then tells the reader how to begin this method of intimate prayer.

I thought this book was very unique and interesting. My favorite part is at the beginning when the author, who is a retired golfer, sees Jesus on the putting green. I began daydreaming about the way Jesus would look in the 21st century and it was an interesting way to begin the book. He then details how the reader can begin practicing the presence of Jesus in simple terms that the reader can easily implement and see results in a short period of time. This book would be a valuable tool for all Christians, regardless of religion because I think we all need to be closer to Jesus and I recommend this book to anyone who wants to deepen their relationship with Jesus.
I received this book free of charge in exchange for my honest review
