Book Review: Unstuck

Do you sometimes wonder where God is hiding?

Do you have a difficult time praying?

These problems and more are addressed in the new book, "Unstuck: Your Life, God's Design" by Michael Ross and Arnie Cole. This spiritual self-help book contains an incredible amount of scientific data and correlations. For example, did you know that people who study the Bible four times or more per week have a closer relationship to Jesus? This information and more are included in this book.

As a whole, this book was interesting and could be useful in it's 45-day devotional format. I was put off by the number of blurbs instructing the reader to check out the website that accompanies the book. I feel the authors could have explained the website in the beginning of the book and then referred readers to it more subtly throughout the book. I went to the site and it looks like a great resource and should have been addressed more in the book instead of the generic blurb that was included.

All in all, I think that this book can be a great resource for anyone who is struggling with feeling close to God. The bite-sized, easy to digest chapters are easy to read and makes the reader want to participate.
